Refund Policy

1. General Philosophy

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us, and we will work to make it right.

2. Products & Services Covered

​

This policy applies to:

​

· Poplar Place Branded Merchandise (e.g., t-shirts, hats, glassware) sold online and fulfilled by our third-party partner, Printful.

· Gift Cards purchased online or in-person.

· Special Event Tickets (e.g., ticketed tastings, live music cover charges) purchased in advance online.

​

This policy does not apply to food and beverage purchases consumed at our physical bar location.

3. Merchandise Fulfilled by Printful

​

All of our online merchandise is produced and shipped directly to you by Printful, Inc., our print-on-demand and fulfillment partner. This means:

​

· We do not hold physical inventory.

· Printful handles production, quality control, shipping, and returns processing for these items.

​

a) Returns & Exchanges Due to Defects or Errors:

If your item is defective, damaged upon arrival, or if you received the wrong item, you are eligible for a replacement or a full refund.

 

1. Contact Us First: You must notify us at poplarplace.nc@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving the item. Please include your order number, photos of the product (showing the defect or error), and a description of the issue.

 

2. We Initiate the Process: We will review your claim and, if valid, initiate a return/exchange request with Printful on your behalf. Printful will provide a prepaid return shipping label if required.

 

3. Resolution: Once Printful receives and inspects the returned item, they will notify us. We will then arrange for a replacement to be shipped at no cost to you or process a refund to your original payment method.

 

b) Returns for Change of Mind:

Due to the print-on-demand nature of our merchandise, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for items ordered in error or due to a simple change of mind (e.g., you don't like the fit, color appears different on screen).

· We encourage you to review our sizing charts and product descriptions carefully before ordering.

· In exceptional circumstances, please contact us, and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.

4. Gift Cards

​

· Poplar Place Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

· They do not expire and are valid for use at our physical bar location in Aberdeen, NC, unless otherwise required by law.

5. Special Event Tickets

​

· Refunds for pre-purchased event tickets are available if the request is made at least 48 hours before the event start time.

· To request a refund, please contact us at poplarplace.nc@gmail.com with your order details.

· Refunds will not be issued for no-shows or requests made within 48 hours of the event.

· If Poplar Place cancels an event, all ticket purchasers will receive a full automatic refund.

 

6. Refund Processing Times

· Once a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original method of payment.

· Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your account, depending on your bank or card issuer's policies.
